This is just one of those hands where you were ahead when the money went in the middle but just got outdrawn. It hurts when it happens at a vital stage of a tournament but there's nothing you can do.

Nice one on the other results though.

freerolls are hilarious like that, you'll always run into someone outdrawing you when you are ahead. For example, I was in a freeroll that was down to 85 players and got dealt KJ off. I hadn't seen a decent hand for the entire thing.
I was down to 1.8K chips with blinds at 200/400. I'm hoping I'll get to limp in but nay, instead 3 guys with about the same amount of chips push all-in ahead of me and the button, sb and bb are still to act.

I say feck it and call for the semi-decent odds hoping there's a bit of bluffing going on. I was up against 77, 99, JJ and I hit my K on the flop and was up nicely followed by screams of YOU MUPPET, KJ OFF SUIT

Next hand I got dealt QQ and raised to 1.2K and got 2 callers and hit my set on the flop with a J and 7 on board. I push all-in, one guy has 88 and the guy screaming muppet at me for my previous call was on 89 off suit who hit a straight 789TJ and took down the pot followed by screams of TAKE IT YOU blah blah blah. Absolutely hilarious, I love freerolls purely for comedy value.

Don't you just love sore losers/winners? I would have played your hand exactly the same and done nothing different.
