Does anyone have any recommendations as it's beginning to annoy me now that I can't play any movies on WMP and half the time it's crashing on me.

    Thanks

    Yup theres :
    Media Player Classic : http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli/
    or
    VideoLan : http://www.videolan.org/

Id personally suggest VideoLan as it has every codec you can think of

For videos, Media Player Classic. Audio, WinAmp or iTunes.

VideoLAN is great but it can stutter on some formats. It's based on MPlayer which I've had NO trouble with. But it's command line based and threatened by new patent laws the EU may bring in.
