Thinking of getting Satellite BB

I am thinking of getting satellite BB simply because there is little chance of my tiny village ever getting wired BB. Just wondering which are the best options as it is simply for Web, email, fidonet and maybe voip but I understand the delay factor. Also if anyone has a system for sale I maybe interested

Not really the best option as I am so far west no one is going to start one out here. God knowes what it would cost to do it

There's no chance of starting a group broadband scheme in your village?

Given that they cannot get a group sewerage scheme going, beeon on teh cards for the last 10 years, I doubt it. I have tried to get people interest in one scheme who only asked for 15 confirmed takers, no one other than me would subscribe

Those islands and other communities are united unlike my local community sad really.
