Unlocking phone

I am going to France for 3 months on Monday and applied to get my phone unlocked (In an 02 shop) about 2 weeks ago...... they told me they'd ring me with the code but they haven't. I'm pretty annoyed because now I'm in Tyrone and can't just pop into an O2 shop to sort it out like I could in Dublin. The local shops can't do…

The local shops can't do anything cos I'm on 02 Ireland and the mobile was bought in Dublin. So I suppose now its too late and I just won't be able to get it unlocked? The roaming charges are really expensive, at 99c to make/receive calls and 40 cents to send a message :mad:
