I download the i386 installation ISO for ubuntu 5.04 off heanet. When installing, there is an md5 error and I cannot load the additional components from CD ROM. I checked the MD5 myself, and indeed it is different. Is this the file on heanet, or did my download manager screw it up?

Most likely a screwup. This is why I get my ISOs by torrent, it hash checks every piece that comes down and dumps those that aren't right, so you're pretty much guaranteed a safe download every time.

I used to swear by torrents but I can no longer upload :s No amount of forwarding etc fixes it. Ah well, long live FTP
