my first impression of it is that it is too flat. And maybe you could spread the colour around a bit. Some way to make the section headings on the nav bar on the left stand out? And finally, I think you have too much space on the sub page. The panels look too spaced out.
Nice font for the name, and the collage is good as well. Its nice the way the colour image stands out against the grey, its just not enough though. The logo is interesting. How long did it take to come up with it?

I hope you don't mind me criticising it Havok, I assumed that was why you posted it, for feed back. If not, sorry smile.gif

I too think it's a little on the flat side.

    Also the colours?

It's about sport, think of all the strips used in sport. It's a colourful and exciting game.

The look seems a little cold and harsh and doesn't suit what i'd imagine the feel of the site would/should be.

    *shrug*
Hope you were looking for constructive criticism.
    :/

constructive criticism is exactly what i'm look'in for, wont learn anything otherwise smile.gif

The original plan was for something that sat nicely on the page and nearer to the "trendy" side of things composition wise

On colours, I do find Football painfully boring, prolly picked a drab colour palette subconsciously tbh smile.gif

Logo was abit of a weird one. Had a diff idea @ first but could'nd manage to get it to look right.
So i extended on the same curves i had down on the site, done the ball in curve in the middle in max and walla.

No that i Look @ it the owl Nav really bar does look abit hidden there.

Layout's very nice indeed, but that one splash of colour does tend to highlight the absence throughout the rest of the page. Mebbe some brighter headings and (dunno how it works already) lots of colourful mouseovers (gives the impression that there's colour there, I think). Perhaps the logo could be more colourful too (like that a lot by the way).

For some reason, orange (leaning towards yellow) really appeals to me as something that'd look good. But I'm odd like that.

Life is like a pyrotechnics display. You've got to stand back and let it happen, othwerwise you're are sincerely bollocked....

    Can you feel the love?
