Just a quick question that was brought up in work, how does one get a job working in an embassy/consulate? We got talking to a girl while at work who was going to India to work in the embassy there and thought how do you become an ambassador for a country?

She said she hated it. But I thought it be quite cool to go work in foreign countries and changing every few years.
