Christ if you'd emailed me I could have sent you a brilliant Earth texture and cloud texture (you set it as a transparent map to get the see through stuff). They both map on very directly and nice and seamlessly on to a sphere. 10 mins work no more. Thumbs up and all, keep getting experience in - I wanna challenge you with a few beginner (me) renderings once my exams finish

would you mind e-mailing me those textures GB. The earth one i have is a complete topographical (no water) and it seems a bit b0rked in places .. ie doesnt seem to be quite seamless, and the cloud texture I got it's the weather patterns I'm looking for
