Will dell LCD monitor work with standard connection?

    Just bought a computer from Dell outlet and i added in a LCD monitor. Just want to know do LCD monitors work off the standard video card connection or do i need a converter?

    if you bought it through the website and it was one of the customisation options avaliabe for that computer you can rest assured that it will. it should use the standard VGA connection. Though for lcds a DVI connection is better but the computer\graphics card has to have a DVI connection too.

    The lcdmonitor in front of me is connected with just the bog standard vga connection and its 10 times better that the old CRT monitor i had.
