Anyone any experiences with the nx8220. Looks like an unbelievably high-spec machine. Only issue I've heard is with the fan being constantly on in AC power mode. I was wondering if anyone has tried the solution below?

    1) Check BIOS - "Fan Always on When on AC" option might be enabled.

    2) Check 'Power Management' setting is set to Laptop/Notebook rather than Always On. Having it on Always On will push the CPU to run at full speed all the time. This would require more cooling than if on Laptop/Notebook*

    * Laptop/Notebook runs at 800MHz but will increase automatically if more computing power needed)

Is this something common with faster Centrino processors?
