We ("Flash My Frankenstein") have recorded a 3-track demo at home. It's fairly lo-fi given that we have the barest of bare minimum equipment, so it ain't studio quality, but hopefully some of you will enjoy the tunes:

Apologies for the size of the MP3's. I encoded them using a machine which I couldn't change the bit rate on, so they're all 320k.

Im listening to them now, they have potential, the voice is great and the timing is good. It wouldnt be my kind of music so maybe Im wrong about this but the lyrics bring you nowhere which is dissapointing since the music does lift you a bit. If I were writing for it I would try to simplify the lyrics and perhaps use more repetition which would bring its direction a bit closer to the police as opposed to Jerry ffish and the mudbugs. I think the reason for there lack of success on a grand scale is over complication of songs. Post and Jones touches on this but again the lyrics themselves lose me. But its great for a first recording, keep it up.

What you said about the lyrics is something we haven't been told before, so we'll definitely take it on board.
