How much am i worth?

Hello peeps,

i am contemplating selling my ibook as i will be going travelling and cant really bring it with me so it would be a sin to leave it siiting at home for a year, it is a iBook 14.1, G3 900Mhz, 640Mb ram, Airport Card, Tiger OSX, combo-drive, think thats about the spec, its in very good condition screen is perfect, no wear on the keyboard etc, it has spent its life in a zero-shock case and still has a year left on the extended applecare warranty, im just looking for a rough estimate of what its worth and to see if its worth my while selling it to fund my trip.

Between 600 - 900 on the scale of things, as a buyer, i wouldn't pay more than 700 for this.

Even on these boards, there has been a sruge in ibooks and powerbooks for sale, same as ebay etc.

That said you have some good extra's there

i suppose id probably be looking for the €800 or very close to it as its in mint condition, now i just have to bring myself to part with it cos its a super machine and there is just no competition with a pc based derivitive, and the battery life is excellent

Look at completed auctions for this particular machine on eBay. This gives a good idea of what they're going for for.

I am a VERY interested buyer, am looking for a 2nd hand ibook at the mo', wat inch is the screen? how much space is on it? and what programs come with it.

I have been reesarching on Ebay to buy one , and I found a G4 12" ibook "To Buy Now" for €790" i think, so for a G3 id defo only pay 650 - 700
