    I know about the waterline on the ship, but othwer than that what do you think?

    Nice,

    The only thing that was a little weird for me is that I'd assume the ship is fairly huge,
    yet the waves look fairly big in comparison.

    That's all,
    nice image, I really got to get me a copy of 3DSMAX on of these days.

    Yea basically the biggest problem is youve just used a plane with a bump map to do the waves. Youll havta use actual gemoetry to get the waterline right....

    And then make the plane slighlty reflective and change its index of refraction to around 1.3 and yer set smile.gif

    Its kinda like a compositing test I did once... to see if I could composite in a 3D ocean into a picture and have it animated etc.... Found I had to use real geometry for the waves to get them to interact with the shoreline correctly...
