Head is wrecked after english today, think ill chill and watch ireland knock in a few against the faore islands. Anyone else?

And they say the Leaving Cert is an equal oppertunity exam, all the women will be studying while we watch the boys in green, not fair i say.. :cool:

And the matches were on DURING THE BLOODY EXAMS! Gahhhhhhhh!

I was sitting my junior at the time and the supervisors actually brought around a piece of paper showing the results because there was so much commotion

Ya, the World Cup 2002 was an odd one alright. I arranged a big screen in the school for our Leaving and Junior Cert students to watch (some of the) matches. The Principal was not too happy — but I won him round with the "It'll help relieve their stress" argument
