Brilliant Guitarist Wanted

I'm looking for an A1 guitarist, preferably in his/her mid 20s, to collaborate with me in writing original songs, and to jam generally a bit too. I'm a female songwriter/keyboardist/singer. Influences are wide. I'd be interested in writing tuneful/melodic music - Clapton'esque ballads as well as rockier anthemic songs. It would be ideal if you could sing and harmonise too.

I'm really looking for someone that I "click" with on the musical front - someone talented who genuinely enjoys writing music.

I have numerous songs together already, but as I'm a pianist/keyboardist these tend to be piano ballads. I want to create some good guitar songs and I already have some ideas.

The ultimate idea would be to etablish a band but the priority is to get the right songs together first.

It would be an advantage if the right person was based in South Dublin.

I like a variety, such as the Stereophonics and Scissor Sisters, as well as Alanis Morrisette and Avril Lavigne. Maybe not the coolest list in the world, but there you have it!!

I'm not sure how similar to these bands' music my own music would be though, as I mentioned my songs to date have been softer, but it's something that could be developed.

I would be very interseted in this. I am 24 and a budding jazz blues singer songwriter. I have been playing guitar for about 12 years and singing for 8. I would be very interested in something like this as I have a good voice, but I dont think it is strong enough to hold the limelight on its on.
I have numerous high quality tunes (completed) and would love to be involved in a project like this.

I enjoyed the other night, and I reckon you've got a good group and good ideas together, but it made me realise that I'd really be more interested in developing original songs at this stage. (Also saw your thread of yesterday and assumed you weren't interested in me!!).

It sounds interesting. I have come to Dublin some weeks ago. I come from Madrid, where I have been playing for some years. I have been recording and composing my own music, and playing almost everything. I have experience with protools, reason, etc, and sw to create and records songs that could be interesting. I have bring some demos so I can give one to you, I live in Dublin 6. I am looking for a band these days, so please contact me if you are interested.
