lads, it there any way to get a CYMK palette in Photoshop.
I'm finding huge problems when doing anything in print cos the files in cymk, but the palette's in RBG, so when i pick a colour it comes out Differently.
For example, i done up a designed card for me friend last nite, now i had done a logo for him in RGB pervious.
To get the same colour red in cymk took it nearly 2 hours of playing around with it.
There must be an easier way of doing this?

any1 with any cymk colour design expeirance know?

If a wee (!) icon appears, with a box underneath it, beside the colour ure changing to in photoshop it means that colour is unattainable in cmyk colour. if u click on the wee box under the ! it will skip u to the closest attainable colour.

Setting up your computer's monitor and stuff to your printer's colour profile is handy too as it trys to match the colours with what ure printer is capable of printing. This option may or may not be available depending on monitor, printer and what drivers etc u have.

The Pantone colours are all available at the printers. so if u for example want a specific colour of red, coca cola red for example the pantone referenece for the red should be given.

Colour can get to be a pain in the ass when doing print jobs if ure a fussy ******* but sure there ya go.

Hope this helps a bit. Bet it won't.
