Hi i have an old Pentium 2 400 laptop running windows 2000 when i turn it on it takes 15 mins to go to the password screen. After i type the password it freezes for another 15-20 mins then tells me the computer cannot logon to the domain because the domain is not available.Any ideas ?

Does it let you change the domain listbox to log in against the the local machine on the login dialog, instead of the domain?

Drop down menu. Should have" This computer" of "Local Computer"
    Still that startup sounds funny
