    Mucho improveo, although i take it that ur gonna change the font for the "home", "news" etc. It wud be good if u could get them in the same font as the "cfxdesign.net".
    The blue globe/sphere works well also.
    Are you gonna put in a background?Plain white is fine
    but its harsh on the eyes after a while.
    Good stuff though.


    Buggerit, Millenium hand and shrimmp......?

    cheers for that m8, ive got 2 fonts im using, quite similar.. but also different.. if you get me, they are Sin and Clockwork.
    Im also thinking along the lines of a background image..

    Very nice Chiefy bai,
    the html links are a bit plain tho.
    it might look a bit cleaner if u added a boarder between the links and the content area also.
    big improvment on the last 1 tho

    Vast improvement. If I were you, I'd change the font for the text links and use more advanced CSS on them.

    Also - that globe graphic - I like it... (actually... I want it for a site of my own... lol!) ... what source have you (or anyone) got for good web clipart?

    Chief, i'm guessing u made the globe in max and put a wire mapping texture on it, but How on earth did u get that the backgrond to blend in like that. Its totally Class.

    anyway.. to answer Havok m8.. yer spot on with the sphere and that.. then a spheregizmo in Helpers > Atmospheric Apparatus along with a little smidgin of Blur Fire (www.blur.com/blurbeta) quick and simple havok m8 smile.gif

    Chief, counters are generally perceived as being a mark of an amateur.
    If this is a portfolio site like, it might be a bad idea..
    U wont see any professional site with 1 visible.
    If u want to check stats put 1 on but have it like 1pixel by 1 pixel, so no1 can see it but u can still grab the info urself from it.

    i think you should use the other fonts like Kento-Shiro said (the same font as the "cfxdesign.net".)...

    it looks amatuer, make black lines only 1 pixel, remove fade aways beside date, 'home', c2000 etc. make top banner 50pix high instead of 100, repeat top banner below - make globe smaller and repeat it. pick a more professional font (arial, tahoma, verdana) and make it look good, don't expect fonts to make a design for you. follow these instructions 1 by 1 and your site will have improved ten fold.

    What res is it set for, is it supposed to only take up a tiny bit of the screen, In my honest opinion it seems to be squshed in to a little box. Is it designed for 800*600??

    Actually, no...

    I'd say it's best to design based on 800x600 but do all your tables etc. in percentage widths so that your page will stretch to any res. and hopefully look OK in 640x480.

    Unfortunately, the site I'm working on at the moment isn't live or I'd be able to give you a perfect example of this but some (not quite so good) examples would be : www.teknomail.com and www.europe.creative.com
