    Hi does anyone know anything about mobile data cards ?How fast?Prepaid or bill pay?Are they expensive? Grateful for any info.

    As in to access the net from your Laptop's PCMCIA card?

    They come in around €300 afaik, and you put whatever sim card you want in yourself. They are quite slow though, something like 25kbps. And that's a small 'b'

    ...and if the charges are anyhting like what the providers charge for WAP data, that 300 quid would be the cheap part...

    Check out vodafone's 3g business offerings they aint too bad. There will be prices and plans up on the site.
