I'm bored of Flash Sites

    Is anybody else bored of flash sites. How many times do you have to animate little boxes trailing across the screen to realise that IT'S NOT ORIGINAL. Does flash have a future in website design?

    yep,
    much prefare some really fine still artwerk on a site reather then flash myself.
    Wait till broadband hits. ppl wont need to stick to vector animation.

    Flash is fine as long as people realise its not just for creating "intros" to your site.

    naw there is really some good ****e out there. all that floaty text and crap box bounces off circle animation is indeed **** however. Nice animation is nice animation... if people realised not everyone has talent enough to use Flash right then. Learning Flash is one thing, learning to animate another entirely.

    i know i don't like so i draw nice wee raster gfx instead....and they stay put.

    Anyone set up flash to interface with forms correctly? I've tried doing it with not much sucess. frown.gif

    as for good flash sites. "Thugs on Film" is now a TV series here in the US (on BBC America). It's totally made from Flash.

    this was project for college i did to show where forms would be used. Go to the Sign up section and follow the structions. They work to a degree but there's no resource for a database behind so its a bit burger.

    Generator2(ships with Flash5 which is nice) is apparently the asp equivalent for flash movies. Its a deadly idea. Flash movie updates on the fly, how super.
