Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    What decent programmes are there out there to make things like stylish writing etc.
    Ive got Ulead3d and its pretty nice. What other software is there along those lines? Im looking for easy to use in particular.

    You might try XARA WebStyle- it can be handy for adding that arty/professional touch to web graphics or creating them from scratch - especially if you're just plain crap at graphics wink.gif

    k, seriously tho, adobe illistrater or macromedia Freehand is a doddle to learn.
    there vector baced proggies so there perfect for web

    Yeah, i love illustrator and always start with it but if you are looking for that instant 'push button for cool effect' use photoshop and get a load of pluggins and download one of the 1536 actions for text effects from http://www.actionxchange.com
