    Have you guys seen any of these about ?

    I saw one a few years ago parked daily outside an office in Walkinstown (83-D reg).

    Haven't seen one of these on Irish roads in at least 10-15 years. IIRC they were rare enough even when new.

    One thing I do remember about the Monza is that Austin McHale used to run one as a rally car! He changed from a Manta 400 to one but I don't think he had much success with it

    I see on here on the Northside every day !

    Its a white GS/E 3.0, beautiful car ,absolutely as new, reg is GZV XXX something, original Irish 1985 ! They were last made in 1986 with one or two left over and registered in 1987. I used to work for an Opel dealership around this time and they were class cars, not fast just nice !!

    Interesting! .......so there are at least 2 about.

    I remember a neighbour of mine had a Senator (four door saloon version of Monza) and it was one big car!!
    Great sound from it as it hummed down the road flicking through the auto box ! :D
