Hey. My computer died a while back

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=260001

Got a new PSU anyway and now when I turn the pc on the screen goes all weird like this:

    *Fixed*

I kind of noticed this thing happening after I installed Pro Tools on my pc. But it was never as bad as that. Now I cant seem to get rid of it? Any suggestions as to what might be causing this or a way to fix it. Tried clearing the CMOS but thats about it

    looks like graphics card,

does it do that in bios too?

I had similar problem, later found out it was overheating

you can have 2 problems, the dead computer took graphics card with it, or it's ok but overheating, open the case and make it work like that, also uninstall the drivers(video) to make sure it's not them causing it, make sure the graphics card sits firmly in the slot

do you have pci audio card? I've seen them causing artifacts like that if they are placed in the PCI slot right below the gpu

Thanks Cyber. Seems to have sorted itself. My audio card is 2 slots below the GPU. It was prob overheating. I need to get a gpu fan and a new cpu fan as well. Thanks

    np! :)

get Arctic Cooling for your graphics card, it's the best there is!
