    satelite broadband it rubbish if you plan to do anything that is ping based (ie.gaming)

    this is a one way service aswell, you will still have to connect to the phoneline to upload aswell.

    also they don't know a lot about the service they provide *look at the flash animation* watch movies (true) play games (false)

    People probably didn't reply because the one reply there was sums up the situation pretty well. More replies would be repetition because it is unlikely anyone will be posting to say it is a good service.

    You didnt state your location?...just in case their might be a wireless broadband possibility in your area..

    Location Leitrim no chance of wireless broadband the only option seems to be satelite at the moment at least 10 Km from exchange

    I'm not in a broadband area myself and I've been looking at these satellite packages for ages and they're not worth a damn. If you want good satellite (i.e. upload as well as download) you're gonna have to pay about €100 a month for it like digiweb and the like. There are other european setups that offer the same type of thing as the broadband4ireland but for a cheaper price.

    I could not afford that kind of dosh and I would be happy just to get a reasonable download speed. You probably have no idea how slow Eircom dial up is around here.
