I have noticed that no one is actually discussing the name aaron......could there be a reason she named her child this? the programme doesnt do anything without a reason so what is the for the name? any suggestions (she says that she doesnt know where the name came from.....) it means enlightened or strenghten, exalated, mountain of strenght, Hebrew for "shining light" or "high mountain" and Arabic for "messenger", in Arabic it means forest and thicken (from different websites)? It may be nothing important but it should be something - there are a lot of mountains mentioned!!

You need to put spoilers and US in that title as this is only revealed in the last episode.

So it reads like: US: Aaron? *Spoilers*

Aaron was Moses brother. Just before Exodus, God sent Aaron to meet Moses who had been away for 40 years. This ties in (loosely!) with the episode's name, and the 40 day thing (the first season covers the first 40 days on the island).

Are we shure it's Aaron and not Erin or similar?

I have to say I loved the scene where Sun asks Claire what the name means and she replies that she doesn't know. The brief look of refelected bafflement - "you go through all this and have a baby with such importance attached to him and you don't even know what you're calling him?" - on Sun's face is classic.

Nope... it definantly sounds like "Erin" when Sun said it. But when Claire said it talking to Sun, it definantly was "Aaron"
