Was my just my imagination, or did she come over semi-sane in the interview?

What she is semi-sane. I'd say she just said all that stuff in her tape to get in!

I thought she was realy sweet in the interview. Couldn't stand her in the house though.

That interview is the only thing i have seen of it so far. She looks almost like she's trying to be weird with her kisses to the crowd. Then she said in a completely normal accent "i just wanted the money," i don't think she knows what she wants to be like.

I was working when I was watching the interview, didn't get much of it, to be honest, but I really wanted Craig to leave.

Embarrassing the country? I didn't realise this was the Eurovision song contest? Besides, is there anyone in there who'd really do much credit to any of their given countries? It's a freakshow and to her credit I think Mary came off as one of the more 'normal' people amongst the group of 13.

Sorry to see her gone tbh. I think I might 'do a Victor' now and just switch it off because there’s really no one in there that interests me anymore. I watched a tape of the eviction show just now and it just left me with a really bad taste for a number of reasons:

    1) The fact that a person with only 1 nom got evicted. Makes you ask yourself 'what's the point of the competition when it can just be turned on its head like that? '
    2) The fact that Mary seemed she was a reasonably sweet and non-media-whorish person in her interview (even Davinas seemed taken aback that she didn't have to interview yet another calculating diva wannabe). It wasn't the usual self-knowing interview that these deceptively savvy contestants usually give imho.
    3) The fact that Mary lost to a panderer who turned on the waterworks the minute he was up for eviction and then dressed up like a fool just to seal the deal.

Anyway, I haven't felt so alienated by that show since the time they rigged it to get rid of John Tickle so I think I might bid it adieu for this year.

Yeah, jeez, what they did to John was harsh *sigh* we shan't look upon his like in the BB house again...

its not such a bad idea keeping the people who dont get along together in there longer, the biggest talking point last year was the fights so im sure they want more along those lines of drama to keep people intrested

Bull! She was a complete hypocrite. They all are. Most of them talk about how the others talk about them behind their backs but then go and do the same thing! (e.g. Saskia) Mary gossiped about people just as much as anyone.

If she was a psychic as she was meant to be she would have known how to play the game to win and wouldn't have been out first.

If she was a damn psychic - she would've known to open the door.

Im glad she got the boot.

she only started wanting to be there on the day of the eviction. and she spent most of her time bitching about hwo two faced everyone else was.

Thought she was a bit harsh on Macosi in her interview on friday. She spent the day whinging about how she wanted to be out of the house. spending most of the evening in bed being miserable. Makosi nominated her because she wanted out at the time. her diary room clip was cleverly edited on friday night but you would have to see the whole nominations entry to see why makosi nominated her.

Sam or roberto to go next week I hope.

sorry to go a bit off topic... what did they do to rig the show to get rid of Tickle?

Basically the night Tickle went out it was the first ever BB 'double eviction' (after 4 years without this stunt) and this scenario was IMHO set up with the express intent to make the voting numbers work against Tickle because the producers saw that they couldn't get rid of him in the usual 2-up for eviction scenario.

Bare in mind Tickle had survived something like 3 (or 4?) 1v1 evictions prior to this so it was fair to suggest that there was no other way to get rid of him. I have the opinion that BB didn't want 'someone like him' being the winner of their show as he didn't represent the voting views of the more loyal/traditional type viewers so BB did everything they could to get rid of him.

Here's posts I made about it at the time here if you want better clarification on what my opinion was.

Im just plain delighted she's gone. the few times I watched the show I happened to see her and all i know is if I was stuck in a house with that disillusioned numbskull , there would be a hairdrier in her shower. mysteriously. and mystically. Im usually tolerant enough but when someones eyes are crazy, when someeone talks absolute crazy s**** ...then they usually ARE crazy. Oh and yes, she was not only embarassing Ireland, she was embarassing me, and her mammy. :o:D
