My NTL, Both Analogue and Digital has been gone since 9am this morning... like, nothing... DEAD...
and no-one can give me a straight answer... I phoned at 9am, and there wasn't an issue in the area, i phoned them again at nooon, they still didn't think there was an issue in the area... I got the usual speel, check your cables, etc..., but i didn't touch the cables... i was in the shower when it dropped...
I phoned at three...there was an issue in a near by area, but no-one could confrim it that was affecting me... i just phoned there (7pm)... and the message say "problem affecting the general Dublin 8 area"!!!!!!!!! what the hell is that... i phoned my mate who live just down the road (in dublin 8, like literally 3 min walk away) and his is fine...
Can anyone who is affected please post where your having the problem...

Me, i'm at the top of the South Circular Road, just off Clanbrassil Street...
For the love of God, please let it come back , i can't go the whole bank holiday weekend with out TV!!!!

    Thanks in advance,

    G.

AHHH for God's Sake. what are the messing at? seriously? at least once a week now NTL: Signal drops. all of it. i phone up and the usual random crap "have you checked the cables, is the tv working ok?" OH MY GOD. LISTEN YOU FOOLS. I WAS LYING IN BED AND ALL THE CHANNELS WENT. IF I WAS F'ING ABOUT AT THE BACK OF THE TV WITH CABLES THEN I'D CHECK THEM BEFORE I CALLED AND I'M PRETTY SURE THE TV IS WORKING AS I CAN STILL SEE THE LISTING ON THE EPG.

The sooner the new owners take over the better. because this is just getting rediculas. is anyone else having constant problems with loss of signal?

sorry for the rant, it's just plain rude on their part!

Yeah, it's all gone. every time they both go. WTF. like last friday week when i posted the original message it was all gone from 9 in the morning until 10 at night. now what's that about? that is just not acceptable. we should get money off our bill when ever the signal is dropped and we report a fault. i mean if you are on a call with O2 or Voda and the call is dropped, they will refund you the cost of the call, and if it happens regularly, they will compensate you!! why not the same with NTL: then maybe that way, they will have to keep a much better service and have speedier repair times or else they loose money!!

Best thing to do is get a few neighbours to ring NTL also. Unless they get a few calls from the same area they don't flag it as an outage.
If you compalin enough sometimes they'll give you some sort of credit but don't hold your breath.
