Where can I get a cheap digital camera SD memory stick (512mb)? They're about €45 on Amazon.co.uk, but are there any other places I should try ?

If you're in the Dublin area try the new Lidl store in Tyrrelstown. I was there this morning. Had to Q but got a 4 port usb for 7.99. They had card readers, digital cameras for 149, memory cards for 20 something, headphones for 9.99, mini systems and lots of crap. Chances are the best stuff is gone but worth a try if you're near and have the time.

Got advert in the door the other day for this store and they are selling a 512mb SD Card for €39.99 from today 4th June.

Had a look at Lidl in Tyrrelstown, and no luck unfortunately! Although I would say the Tyrrelstown complex will be an interesting place in a few years - they're building a self-contained village there...
I am going to use play.com to get it. It's slightly cheaper than other places, and they have been good to me in the past regarding delivery and returns.
    Thanks all!

I bought a new SanDisk 1Gb SD Card yesterday on eBAY for €65, including postage.

Cheapest I can find elsewhere is that place in Celbridge (€82) and Komplett, which are cheaper at €78, but charge in inexplicable €10 P&P!!

thats cos they use a courier, think of it as a handling charge too. There is an incentive for you to buy more from them, I think up to 25kg is still only €10.
They could just as easily say it is €88 with "free postage" like many do, I prefer companies that are up front about postage, all these companies have to pay postage so how can they offer it free? they mask it in the price.

I have a brand new unopened sealed lexar 1GB sd card. I will sell it for €65 if anybody is interested. I should be in dublin city centre this saturday, or will post if you transfer money to my account
