Lift from Galway to Castlebar (or nearby) tomorrow?

Hey there - I'm poor. I also wouldn't mind going to Castlebar at some stage tomorrow.

If anyone is driving down and would like to offer me a lift then that would be just super.

(Preferably someone who isn't a complete arsehole but then again... beggars and choosers and all that)

At this point it may be pertinent to point out that I'm from Castlebar and the arsehole comment wasn't aimed at Castlebarbarians. It's just that there's nothing worse than having to talk to some gob****e for an hour and a half. I think everyone hitching has had that experience at least once.

So back to the lift - who wants to give me one? Ah c'mon. I'm nice. I can tell funny stories to while away the journey.

I knew your point, but I think you missed mine. Saying that you don't want arseholes to offer you a lift, but anyone else to do so, is a little like going to a job interview and saying that you left your last job because your manager was an incompetent d!ckhead arsehole - good luck getting the job

Giving someone a lift as far as Headford is pretty bad. When you're hitching you get stuck there for hours - and there's only so often you can go in and out of that one petrol station shop.

It's happened before. I won't let it happen again.
