Ok i'm bored...its friday and i'm waiting for the long weekend...

where'd everyone get there nick's from.....mine is from the first shooter i ever played...Gryzor on the old rubber keyed ZX Spectrum .. i can still remember loading it up from tape.. :eek: took about 5 minutes of screeching and then the fun began..

Ive been called kinky/kinkstr since i was in school and ive never been able to shake it. One of my mates was reading a paper in class and saw a picture of a guy dressed up in leather and he had the same first name as me followed by kinky and it just kinda snowballed from there.

its not cos im into strange activities with whips and such, but i fully endorse experimentation into these areas

Dinner

I'm guessing this is in game nicks?

Anyway. I'm Dinner and My friend suggested it for a couple of reasons,

1) He was hungry
2)He pissed himself when it came up on the screen saying "You killed Your Ma" or whatever so he got me to put on Your Dinner. And now it just got shortened to Dinner.

I started my CoD days as Snake (man I loved Metal Gear Solid). But now I'm S!las which is a name I picked up in the Da Vinci code... Now don't get me wrong, I'm not a murderous albino monk or anything! Just liked the name... thought it was cool... :rolleyes:

The night before I signed up for boards I watch a Japaneese animated film called Cowbot beebop. The was a character called spooky donkey. I thought this was real funny and still on my mind the next day when I signed up for boards. Ive shortened it to SpookyD for gaming though.

i do archery and i thought brokenarrows would be good cause brokenarrow is a term to describe the detination of a nuke and a brokenarrow in archery is not a good thing. lol.

MOHAA (pc version) was my first taste of online fps multiplayers. I was Steiner for a while after that classic Cross of Iron film, and then I was Fred Elliot, Champion Butcher! That got a few good laughs I say, I say...got a few good laughs it did!! "Evening all" was the way I used to enter into games and say hi.

Pale Rider IRL is the current COD sig and its suit me well, 'cos I rarely used to encounter other Irish in MOHAA or COD and it felt lonely drifting on the plains etc. Glad to see that's changing with more irish playing GFM and on that lovely Jarhedz server!

As for me, I took a wildly imaginative leap and used my shortened real name, I've used it as a handle in games for years, . . . . . the clan name, well thats a longer story and I aint sayin.

Big Nelly on everything.......was called Nelly since I was a young buck at school......real name is Neil so everyone changed to Nelly from the cartoon Nelly the Elephant......kinda stuck so still called Nelly/Nels/Big N to this day!!!

I was SwampDonkeyLuvva during my UT days. This was, basically, a part of a slagging match between my brother (who was also a big UT fan) and I, due to the large whale of a woman he was seeing at the time and it, like her, stuck.
I've been Major von Hapen on CoD for a coupla years, he being one of my favourite characters from Where Eagles Dare. Top film. The actor involved also went on to star in a few dodgy skin flicks, which just adds to the fun.
