Lol. Still Pretty crappy that hes gone O'Kelly is unstopable when hes having a good game but then again he does have bad games more often than the likes of his counter part O'Connel who is just the man ;) They are flying out Shaw to replace him who is by no means a bad player pitty he isnt irish eh? :P

Well O'callahans taken up Mal's place on the bench so we should hopefully see a bit of action from him there.

I don't know - O'Connell was VERY quiet for much of the 6 nations IMO, and far from the stand out player he had been last season.

Heh I dont think many Irishmen had that great a time in the 6 nations this year now in fairness :P Anyway I wouldnt worry about him performing well with the lions ;) As for O'callahan taking mals place I dunno if that will happen. Shaw is a better player but then again the Lions head couch seems to have a soft spot for him for some reason :P

Yeah, I guess you are right, but I think he was billed as one of those inspirational players who can lift other team mates, and he didn't do that. O'Kelly was pretty consistent I thought.

I think O'Callaghan has that "impact player" type image - pretty much like Trevor Brennan who was mainly brought on to unnerve the opposition. He seems to put his head where other people wouldn't put their feet, and that is probably his appeal.
