With America, it's often hard to tell what's a hoax. Compare the Westboro Baptist Church (http://godhatesfags.com - really) and the Landover Baptist Church (http://www.landoverbaptist.org/). Which is real? Why, both of them! Nah, the second is a hoax, but Fred Phelps is sadly very much real, and one of the craziest people in the world.
