    Golden Discs have Seasons 1, 2, 3 for (from memory) €79.00 !!!!
Sendits price for equivalent is €38.00

    - Nice way to do business, hope Play.com and Sendit.com et al put HMV and Rip-off Discs out of business some day.

P.S. Girlfriend once really wanted Gone With The Wind on DVD - only place I could pick it up on short notice was Rip-off Discs...They wanted €39.00 for it - this flick pre-dates World War II. W@nk3rs!

If you need it that day (present etc) my trick is to buy it in hmv and order it online, then when it arrives you bring it back with the reciept and get your money back or exchange for vouchers.

Its free delivery to the uk. But the price i quoted includes delivery and is in stock at the moment. You will save €6 and have it shipped within a day or so (instead of a week or 2) by ordering from amazon instead of sendit.

Can anyone confirm if each epsiode has commentary from Jerry Seinfeld or Larry David??

Love Seinfeld, but would love it more to hear Larry David talk about George!!

I think only some episodes have commentary.

Yeah, they do. I bought it full price last christmas from HMV, which was a dumb thing to do, also because their stickers ripped off part of the box.

Anyone look for the cheapest place to get the upcoming 4th Season?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 394 ✭✭DamoRed

Thanks for that, Basquille. Not necessarily for Seinfeld DVDs, but for the link to Send-It. I'd never heard of them before as far as I recall. I don't think they're in the sticky in Home Entertainment forum. With great prices on some items and free delivery to Ireland, they're a must for inclusion on the list.

    Yes.. SendIt are excellent!

But.. word of warning: They can take quite some time with delivery

Was waiting a month and a half before for them to deliver a DVD.

Hmmmmm. That does indeed put a different perspective on things. Was it because of something you ordered being out of stock that delayed it? That would seriously test patience! Thanks for the warning

Have ordered a few things off sendit and you hit the nail on the head there, if its in stock expect it pretty quickly but if not then yes you may be waiting a little longer. (In fairness longest I ever waited for something 'temporarily out of stock' was 2 weeks.

I ordered those Seinfeld DVDs - may have been quicker to fly stateside & sit under Jerry Seinfelds apartment window begging for freebies.

Bit that annoys me is that they never said they were out of stock - order page make it look as though they have a warehouse full of them.

Seems a bit dishonest to me. - I always look elsewhere if I see "backordered" or "temp. out of stock", but in this case they got their [last] sale from me.
