wheres the a/c number on an atm card

    i started work today and im with bank or ireland
    im lookin for the a/c number
    there 3 number on my boi atm card: 1.card number 2.sort code 3 some other one with no descriptionlocated above he sort code

    which one is the a/c number?!

    i think u need a bank statement to see it!

    the account number isn't on your card afaik.
    go to your local boi branch and get a statement printed from one of those statement printing deelios. the ac number should be on this printout.
    it'll be an 8 digit number

    You should scan in the front of your card and post it.

    Give us your pin number too so we can check it out of you.

    Would'nt it be hillarious if i Thought i was making that up, but it was actualley a valid number that I once knew off by heart yet had forgotten!

    Funny enough its a valid number! That doesn't mean its active though ::)

    The number has a check code in it. Its to prevent someone entering an incorrect number by accident.(Or for quickly checking if it is a valid number)

    I remember doing it in college. The number can be valid but not in use.

    my student account has the a/c number on the card with boi but my current a/c that my wages goes into does not have the a/c number on the card just some other number :confused:
