Just wondering what everyone uses and how they find them? I'm just begining to start cycling and need a hassle free way to keep track of my mileage.

    Thanks

I have a Topeak Panoram (Wireless). It's good because it has a big display.

I bought it from www.chainreactioncycles.com but they don't seem to sell that model anymore. Closest I can see is this...

I've never tried any other type yet so I can't compare it to others

    Wow, the Topeak is huge.

    I have the Cateye Mity 8. e28 in BikeDock.com.
edit: e25 in ChainReactionCycles.com but they didn't stock it when I bought it.
It's wired, not cordless. No cadence. Sensor fit on my front suspension fork (quite wide). Does what I need it to do - speed, average, max, distance etc. Has dual tyre size setting too.

Can't beat the ones that turn up in lidl and aldi every now and again for value. I have a wireless computer which also has a HRM which I picked up for 20 euro in Aldi, and a solar powered wireless job which Ipicked up in lidl for less than a tenner. My preffered non-cheapy computer is the Cateye Cordless 7, which is available in lots of shops, online and offline.

Some come with extra long cables so might be long enough to mount on a back wheel. You could email the crew at info@bikedock.com for recommendations of wired and wireless ones for this purpose.
They can probably comment on reliability too.
