Ok, maybe this should go to programming or something but i was wondering. Say i have a folder with loads of files in it, all named differently, and i wanted to add in a few letters at the end of each file's name, how would i do this?
For example, the files would be
    a.exe
    b.exe
    c.exe
    d.exe
    e.exe

and i want to make them

    a-blah.exe
    b-blah.exe
    c-blah.exe
    d-blah.exe
    e-blah.exe

So how could i do this? Obviously without having to go to each one seperately!

You can do it in DOS.

    For %x in (?.*) do ren %x %~nx-blah.*

    Start>Run
    cmd
cd (to the folder the files are in)
    ren *.exe *blah.exe

Ok, overkill for this question (but it has an excellent 'multi-rename' feature - screenshot below) but an excellent shareware file manager (e28 to buy) is Total Commander (formerly Windows Commander). It looks like Norton Commander and the other clone, Midnight Commander.

See a full list of features.
I have nothing to do with Total Commander, I just love the app.
