Don't worry I'm sure NTL can let you experience a full outage too :D

I was with Esat (courtesy of Eircom's technology) for a whole year with zero downtime. Then I switched to NTL. Fine until I decided to make the straddle to VoIP. Not entirely convinced to kill the phone line yet. Since NTL have committed to VoIP services though, things might improve. Maybe my cable isn't up to 2Mbps.

Netsource went down last night too (the one bloody time I actually needed it), Foxrock exchange.

A "physical line error" followed by a "PPPOE server not found" for an hour or so.

That said, I can't remember the last time it went on the blink.
