Can you buy poker chips in California, America?

Just wondering if I should get a set of chips before I head off on Saturday because I thought it was illegal in most states i.e. gambling at home. Ta

Nope sports authority, target & walmart all have poker chips and poker sets. They are very very big chains out there, and there are normally at least 20 of each store in every large city.

Most of the major department stores sell the better chips - saving re Special Days prices are quite small - about 20 - 25% (we have 3.9% duty & 21% VAT over here)

Macy's, Bloomingdales etc etc.

Walmart & the like mainly sell the composite chips.
