Ok so first off this is a laptop im talking about but could be applicable to any pc. Currently my laptop overheats when playing games and so to compensate it rudeces cpu power which means my games stutter, so i need to clean it out. But also Ive gotten a program called "Hi8kfan" and for the time being until i clean out my pc, ive made a profile in this program to pretty much have the fan running at top speed so I can play games undisturbed, im worried though as normally the fan only comes on to high speed for a few seconds every now and then if let to regulate itself, so is keeping it on top speed bad in anyway?

laptops + poor cooling + tightspaces = not good for gaming

laptops arent really gaming machines even high end ones tend to overheat alot nothing you can do really just give the air duct plenty of breathing space
