Ive had my second name changed and need to apply for a new passport.

Can i just do the same as usual with passport express except put in a copy of my documents saying i had my name changed??? Is it safe enough to send your birth cert etc. in the post or would it be better to just go to the passport office-

I cant get through to them and cant find the info. on the website!!

That should be fine to do that you should be fine I would suggest rinning the passport office just to check but I had passanger who done that before and there was not a problem

You'll need to send documentation proving that you've changed your second name - marraige cert or whatever. It's detailed on the application form, no?

I went into office today. Waited 3 hours to be told I have to come back in to give at least two examples of using my new name aswell as the documents I had. It's too late to use passport express but thanks!!
