What will become of amd 754

I have a 754 based comp and was wondering what is going to happen to it.

Will it just fade away after a while.

Or what i think it will be a budget platform.

Big question is how long will it last.

it should last another bit neway i got a athlon64 3400+ and i plan on keeping it for atleast another year or more till the next big games come out such as unreal tournament 2007 and then buying a new cpu/gpu/ram and mobo together

I suppose you could sell it to a hardware store and then they could use it as the computer for paint mixing

All the "new" Semprons are coming out as Socket 754 are they not ? It'll become the new "budget" version of the Socket A.

I see plenty of life left in it still

I can see it being the budget line model for the next couple of years anyway, now that Socket A is all but gone away. I plan I getting another few years out of mine anyway before upgrading again.
