    Howdy,

I'm having a real tough time getting in contact with the person in charge of sorting expesnes from a certain multi national. It's been 3 months now they have only got in contact with me a hand full of times to inform me of the progress.

Only recently have I been trying to contact them more then once a week and they've yet to return any of my calls etc.

Anyways... does anyone have any advice on how I could go about claiming the expesnes back without going to court? It comes to around 180 euro. I'm about to leave the country to go home (UK - Ireland).

It's not like they are stuck for cash... they have a lot thats for sure :)

If it's a a large multi-national then you could possibly try to find out who is responsible for ensuring that Person-X is doing their job and 'escalate' (a great multi-national word) it to them. They might be able to kick the chain into action.

They are in charge of graduate type recruitment. The company itself doesn't have a HR department which is usually outsourced to the likes of stepstone or cpl.

I'll give it a whirl though... they may actually have a legitimate reason though (Maybe :) )

There is a small claims system here - look at Oasis.ie.
In view of the cost and the sum outstanding it may be too expensive.
Why not send in a formal letter syaing the sum is outstanding you'hve been in touch x times nothingh has happenned and uless you hear within y days ( 7 or 14) you will need to take it further and charge them the costs for doing so - mention the Small Claims Court
