Anyone know of the best place to get decently priced laptop bags or backpacks? I'm looking for something that can take a 15" laptop, and is nicely padded etc.

    Any suggestions?

PCWorld in Blanch have Targus bags for 50 euros that look good & don't broadcast the fact that your carrying a laptop.

Very stylish bags which don't look like they've got a laptop inside, and you can search by screen size instead of guessing whether yours will fit. A little pricey, but let's be honest, you don't want to lose/break a 2 grand laptop, purely because you wouldn't spend more than €50 on a bag, do you?

But the delivery charge is a nightmare. €23.50 for anywhere in europe!

if your not in a hurry Lidl have them in stock now & again, I got one for less than €15, :) there padded, and the come in different designs with internal pockets.
mine's not a backpack just a handle & shoulder strap, can't recall if the had a backpack type.

I got a very god one last Saturday in Blanch ESB shop electric store. It was a closing down sale or something and the price was reduced to €30 but it had a slight mark and I got it for €22 after muchos hagglous. May be a few left. Great quality and extra compartments than the average bag. 'Twas better than that Targus one too, I checked out Dixons first and saw them. Glad I shopped around tbh. Hope that helps.

The bag shop on level 3 in the square has reasonably good value in laptop bags - starting at 20 euro. If you're looking for something a bit different, the range of Crumpler bags might suit. Try ebay - I picked up a Crumpler bag from ebay seller photococan for a lot less than you'd pay here or in the UK.
