    Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone would have any experience with this.
My friend is in a wheelchair and drives a nissan micra which is great for getting places but all the problems arise when she gets there as she needs someone to help her in and out of the car, and she has to leave her electric wheelchair in work as
it is alot of effort to try moving it everywhere.

She wnats to get one of those car/vans that she can drive the wheelchair into and to the best of my knowledge it has a swivel drivers seat so that she can get from the wheelchair to the drivers seat and back etc.

I know the fiat ducato and renault kangoo have versions where htis is possible, her usual car dealer will not try and source one for her.

Anyway anyone have experience in trying to get one of these?

It has to meet the following criteria for tax and insurance reasons -

    Under 1.4l
    Automatic

And I am pretty sure that is all.

    Thanks
    Rach

    Hi,
No experience of this but the Irish Wheelchair Association should know.

I'm not too sure myself but I have seen this company's sticker on a few vehicles.

They convert vehilces as well as sell them, under the conversions section it lists all the things you talked about.
