What was your best mobile ever? and why?

Mine had to have been my 6210, it did everything I needed and lasted about 2 years. It'll still do everything which I need and the size wasn't bad either.

Loved my first phone.. Siemens C25! Light and small, as compared to some of the phones out around the same time!

Still was in perfect nick when i bought a new phone 2 years later. Won't buy anything except a Nokia nowadays!

At the time I really liked my Nokia 7650, but looking back it was HUGE!!! My fav phone so far would have to be my current one, a Nokia 6260!

either my Ericsson T28, same reason's mik_da_man gave
or the SonyEricsson T68 - wow - must have been the first phone to have everything (well except a camera - but who cares!)

6230, always wanted a phone with an mp3 player so this is class and to be able to play micromachines when im bored in work is great. I cant imagine why id ever get another phone unless this breaks.

My 7650 was the best (at the time), though how a phone could be deemed "beyond repair" when all that was wrong was the power button is beyond me.

My current phone which is fantastic!

I particularly like the shedloads of Symbian Apps / Games available for it. Fantastic free Symbian Games out there... a hundred times better than a lot of the official nGage games shi*e you pay €40 for in the shops!

Getting a bit sick of the size of it though... have me eyes on the Nokia 6230 but €269 on Speakeasy Upgrade is a bit too much for now! Will wait for the reduction.

my 6600.. time for a change me reckons.. possibly the new 6680... gonna wait for a while, found it lags a little

Of all my old phones, I really liked my Siemens M35 - I put it through absolute hell and it always came through. Of my more recent phones, I had an LG U8110 on 3 in the UK which I quite liked, and a SE K500i which does for me at the moment, basic, light, stylish little phone with a good UI.

Nokia 3210. Great phone at the time which didn't have a protruding antenna and can take a fair thrashing. And it still works, mother uses it all the time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,756 ✭✭✭vector

Nokia 3330 (that was the 3310 with WAP)
a prefect phone, fast responses (why are other phones so slow), small, light, vibration, battery lasted 5days if turned off at night, wap was handy, predictive text, navi-key TM was good

Some will doubtless say that the Nokia 5110 is the best, and yes it was good in for being indestrucable, long battery, but its lacked predictive text and vibration.

the nokia 3310 was so class for its time way ahead of everything else though it was sort of a follow up to the 3210
