hey, is there anyway of changing the polarity of a power supply from tip negative to tip positive. I know that on universal power supplies where you can change the voltage and the polarity that you can change the polarity just by taking off the head of the adaptor and turning it around, could this be done by cutting the wire of a power supply and switching the wires?? any thoughts?

    thanks
