Spots/lumps on tongue?

I have about 4 or 5 tiny white spots on the end of my tongue for the last 2 days.
I woke up yesterday and they were sore, but I could feel them coming on the night before.
I normally get them after eating something particularly acidy suck as oranges or fizzy sweets etc, but they normally go away after about half a day, or after sleeping.

They don't seem to be going away and are very irritating.
Is there any method to get rid of them?
    Does anyone else have/get them?

I get that too. Whilst boards is not a place to seek medical advice I can recommend that using Bonjella or Ambesol will get rid of the pain for a while. Try not to rub them against your teeth either. Unfortunately you'll just have to put up with them until they die down. Mine never go away after half a day or after sleeping, always get them for a few days.

I'm not a doctor, but I think it's the onset of gonorrhea tbh.... You need to go to your nearest STI clinic for a checkup.

I'm not a doctor, but brushing your teeth and a few gargles of listerine before you go to bed is a proactive solution.. that or have a glass of water after eathing anything too sweet.

Anyone else ever get blister things at the side of the tongue after drinking beer?

Then I must have had gonorrhea since I was a baby. And gonorrhea doesn't pop up whenever I eat an apple or apple falvoured sweet. I get them from fizzy sweets like the original poster. White blisters are a very common symptom in many allergies, diseases and infections.

Don't take advice from here - go to a doctor soon if they persist and until then, avoid eating things that cause your tongue to break out like that!

My ex used to get those, too much beer made him feel rundown, and these ulcery-things would pop up. I often get them myself as well, again often when I'm tired or stressed. The only thing I find that helps, is to keep my teeth as clean as possible and to use mouthwash as often as I can.

    LOL. :D

It's probably some horrible germ/virus/bacterial infection picked up from another filthy human. Avoid all human contact like Howard Hughes and buy a hyperbaric chamber, use an oxygen tank and eradicate those free radicals in your body and you'll live forever without such ailments.

I must stress once again though, I'm not a doctor... well not a real doctor... more like a psychologist or dentist kind of pretend doctor. ;)

Right - that's enough joking around. There are other places to do that : you can post silly posts here all you want.

I'm going to lock this thread because I don't see it going anywhere useful. Dawballz, if you want it opened again for some reason, PM me.
