    ABOUT
    Shots In The Night

    Hosted By Ed Malin and Kristina Leath, Calito's Cafe, a venue created by ART FOR CHANGE
    will be featuring a Theatre and Film fusion night beginning mid-June
    on Sunday nights. The evening will showcase emerging artists
    pieces in a mix night bridging the gap between theatre and film.

    The night will present short films and theatre pieces (orig, and
    non. accepted-non. with orig. perspective)in a mixed order allowing
    for a change of pace and a mingling of art forms and creativity.

    ABOUT
    The Venue
    Carlito's Cafe is an exciting art space/cafe/bar founded by ART FOR
    CHANGE. Located at 1701 Lexington Ave., Carlito's Cafe is on the
    Upper East side and in the heart of El Barrio. Welcoming a wide
    array of artists ranging from painters to musicians to dancers and
    beyond. Carlito's is a great space and Art For Change is a great
    organization that's far from comercial and all about the art!

    ABOUT
    Submissions

    PLAY SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
    -Each orig. play submission should be in a Word.doc format, in the
    email please include a little information about yourself and your
    project.
    -Each piece should run between 5-30 minutes.
    -Each piece should be self-contained, thus please include
    director/casting/staging information.
    -Due to extremely limited space, smaller pieces/scenes (in staging
    and # of performers) are preferred.
    -If chosen, a tech. will be required for all accepted entries.

    FILM GUIDELINES
    -All film submissions should be in VHS and/or DVD, please include a
    little about yourself and your film.
    -All submissions should be between 5-30 minutes.
