    Hi All

    I got this box.
I don't know if its any good to me.
I have a Sky dish on house but nothing on the end of it.
Would this box pick up FTV channels with the dish?

    Cheers

    Nope.

Thats an old analogue cable de-scrambler which was used way back then when sky sports and sky movies were scrambled through the NTL cable, or when everything was scrambled on the Chorus network.

Its only good for Chorus analogue now, and even then, less and less chorus areas do analogue anymore.

It most certainly WON'T pick up a satellite signal of any kind as its made only for cable.

    Sorry! :p

Nope. What you have there appears to be some kinda cable box. About as much use as a chocolate teapot for satellite. What you wanna do is get yourself a nice cheap sky digibox of of ebay, pace or pansonic are good, grundigs can give trouble.
