I also never had any issues with my credit card with them, and I've used their service quite a bit in the past year or two.

It tends to vary, although some items seem to have been out of stock for months, ive had no problems with Play, my orders always arive within 5 days and there proces are excellent on most items bar some of the boxsets, last time i checked the sopranos series were 75 squid each :eek:

I had a problem with that too. The form on the site insists you enter a postcode with your credit card billing address, so I made one up (as I usually do in this situation). Then when the payment system sees a postcode that doesn't match the real address it won't process the payment. I called them up to explain, and they fixed it very quickly. No waiting around on hold either. I was impressed with the customer service, although the web form needs to be redesigned.

000000
non available

so it is pretty obvious that you don't have/need one. Once I did get a personal (non-automated) email asking me to confirm my code was 0000000 :rolleyes:

As rubadub says it's probably an issue with the postcode. I used to always use six underscores but play.com and a few others had a problem with this. I changed to 000000 and all worked well. I think Play also contacted me to confirm my postcode too, can't really remember as it was quite a while back.

I don't have FG season 3 yet so I might just have to check this out Thanks Solitaryman

I never had a problem with Play, Sendit or CDWow with my credit card or postcode. I have had a few problems with Sendit and CDWow involving delivery and items being out of stock when they said they werent etc. Never had a single problem with Play though.

No idea really, i'd ordered from them before without any trouble then one day decide I should call them on a Uk number, I suggest that they should call me since I'm the customer but never heard from them. Only other site with similar problem was maplins. Thanks for the sendit info

ive just ordered family guy season two off play and had no trouble with credit card. i cant remember what site it was that wouldnt accept my credit card card because my details didnt match the details the bank had about me which was very annoying.
